Olsson is seeking a Summer 2027 student intern in the Industrial Environmental team. You will perform hands-on work on client projects, including environmental data collection, research, and report preparation, balancing client objectives with environmental stewardship.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and professionals, with potential field or office work based on project needs. The role emphasizes growth, teamwork, and real-world learning opportunities at Olsson.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental studies, biology, or a related scientific field.
• Interest in environmental field investigations, data collection, and scientific research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental data collection, scientific research, and report preparation.
• Work closely with scientists, environmental professionals, and engineers on client projects.
• Contribute to projects related to mine reclamation, water and wastewater treatment, compliance, permitting, and waste management.
• May work in office or field depending on project needs.
