Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science graduates to join our North Austin, Texas office. This is not a remote position.

You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions for the future built environment. You will develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and gain knowledge in natural resources, water quality, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, and GIS, with travel around

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field by Summer 2027.
  • Willingness to travel 10–30% for fieldwork.
  • Strong analytical and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex problems and collaborate across disciplines to advance clients’ visions for future built environments.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations relevant to projects.
  • Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, water quality programs, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology and GIS.
  • Some travel and fieldwork may be required (approximately 10–30%).
