Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science graduates to join our Charleston, South Carolina office. This is not a remote position and offers opportunities to work across disciplines with project managers and clients.

You will develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and contribute to projects involving natural resources, water quality, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, and GIS. Travel may be required (10-30%).

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related majors by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Solve problems and assist project managers across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations at federal, state, and local levels; learn Kimley-Horn's and clients' practices, procedures and standards.
  • Gain knowledge in areas like natural resource regulations, water quality programs, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, and GIS.
