Advocate Health is seeking a qualified Environmental Safety Manager to lead the development and implementation of safety programs across facilities. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while promoting sustainability initiatives and driving continuous improvement in environmental health practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of safety experience, with strong knowledge of

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or related degree.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in related safety field with knowledge of EPA/OSHA/DOT and applicable codes.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with leadership to direct development, planning and implementation of environmental safety programs and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement environmental safety strategies and action plans for organizational sustainability.
• Coordinate sustainability aspects such as pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, and renewable energy for compliance.
• Audit, analyze and report environmental safety performance to Senior Leadership and regulatory agencies.
• Identify and assess risks to reduce financial and operational costs.
• Promote awareness of environmental safety issues across the organization and stay updated on regulations.
• Assist with training staff on environmental safety issues and responsibilities.
• Responsible for environmental safety reporting and developing relevant metrics.
• Direct/Consult with Advocate Facilities on Environmental Safety.
