Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC seeks a Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain workplace health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations while promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, 5+ years of experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to conduct

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of health and safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and determine root causes.
• Maintain records related to injuries, illnesses, inspections, and training.
• Lead safety committees and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor PPE use and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and evacuations.
• Review contractor safety performance and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze safety metrics and prepare management reports.
• Partner with operations to improve safety performance.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
