Job summary

The role includes managing the AHERA asbestos program, coordinating chemical hygiene plans, IAQ monitoring, radon mitigation, and MS4 permit compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• AHERA Building Inspector/Management Planner certification required or to be obtained.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Research, understand, and interpret new and existing regulations; develop programs to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate environmental hazards and coordinate responses to maintain a healthy environment.
• Manage AHERA asbestos program including inspections and training.
• Coordinate science safety and chemical hygiene programs; develop site‑specific plans and inventories.
• Investigate IAQ concerns and manage radon mitigation; ensure compliance with MS4 permits.
