Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe school environment and deter unsafe behavior. You will patrol campuses, monitor access, assist with emergencies, and enforce district policies.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, security experience, and ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends. Preference for CPI/CPR certifications and experience in education settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of students and campus; high visibility patrols.
• Monitor lunch periods and after-hours areas for safety and order.
• Assist administrators in investigations using security cameras and incident reports.
• Discuss infractions with students and document disciplinary actions.
