CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The candidate will assist with regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include supporting site investigations, developing DQOs, QAPPs, SAPs, and exposure models, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field with professional scientist registration/certification or Master's degree in Science or related field.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and workload.

Mansioni

• Supports site investigations and data interpretation for human health risk assessments (HHRAs) and ecological risk assessments (ERAs).
• Assists with development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepares CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs for various project complexities.
• Collaborates with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement approved project approaches.
• Provides technical evaluation of project documents and supports client meetings.
• Mentors junior staff and supports staff training.
