Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within our Environmental Services Group. You will contribute to regulatory compliance efforts for federal, state, and local environmental programs across our project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supports site investigations and HRAs/ERAs data interpretation.
• Develops DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepares CSEMs and exposure models (HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs).
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Supports proposals and responses to RFPs.
• Contributes white papers on emerging environmental issues.
• Presents at conferences to improve firm visibility.
• Performs other duties as required.
