Resource Environmental Solutions LLC is seeking a Regulatory Specialist II to support permitting, field documentation, and regulatory strategy for environmental restoration projects. You will collaborate with project managers, scientists, and agency partners to ensure permit documents and monitoring reports are accurate and timely.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in environmental permitting, experience drafting permit documents, and proficiency in field data collection and sampling protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, geology, biology, or a related natural or physical science field.
  • 2+ years of relevant environmental permitting or regulatory experience (or 1+ year with an advanced degree).
  • Experience supporting or drafting permit documents and reports (e.g., 404/401, NWP/IPESA, CESA, LSAA 1600, NPDES, BCDC major permits etc.).
  • Proficiency in field data collection and sampling protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, design plans, technical and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support permitting, field documentation, and regulatory strategy for environmental restoration projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and agency partners to ensure timely regulatory deliverables.
  • Help resolve compliance questions and assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory meetings and agency communications.
