Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC (RES) is seeking a Project Manager II to lead regulatory-driven ecological restoration projects in Illinois. You will work with scientists, engineers, and subcontractors from our onsite field office near Antioch, IL, with travel up to 50% for future projects.

You will guide project delivery through RES Best Management Practices, ensuring quality and safety while mentoring multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years as a construction Quality Control Manager in heavy civil or environmental restoration projects.
• Experience leading USACE or NAVFAC construction projects or equivalent ecology-focused deliverables.
• Familiarity with USACE quality control requirements and the three-phase control process.
• 5+ years in ecological restoration or equivalent fields of work.
• Current USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management certification or ability to obtain before starting work.
• Experience reviewing earthwork, excavation, drainage, stream restoration, culvert installation, erosion control, seeding and habitat restoration activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams including scientists, engineers, construction pros, and subcontractors.
• Report to field office with project focus in Lake County, IL; travel up to 50% may be required.
• Support contracting teams to deliver high-quality ecological solutions; plan work, schedule equipment, and manage subcontracts.
• Document work through as-built docs, field data collection, QC reports and testing documentation.
