Job summary

Rincon Consultants, Inc in California seeks a temporary Publishing Specialist to format environmental planning reports and proposals using Rincon branded templates or client templates, with advanced Word and Acrobat skills to produce final bookmarked PDFs.

You will work with a team of publishers, tech editors, and Marketing, coordinating with technical staff across departments to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• At least 1 year of Word processing experience.
• Experience with creating and editing Adobe PDF files.
• Functions well in fast-paced environment.
• Strong communications skills and some writing ability.
• Experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ADA Compliant document review is a plus.
• Technical Editing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment, initiative to work and learn independently and proactively contribute to department goals.

Responsibilities

• Formatting of Word documents with adherence to styles and templates
• Create bookmarked PDF files for internal printing or electronic submittal to clients
