Job summary

Plumbing Systems Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead sewer, drain, underground, and environmental service projects from start to finish. You will keep projects organized, on schedule, and on budget while guiding field teams to deliver quality results in the field.

This hands-on role requires strong project management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with time spent in the field to ensure safety and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects and people within environmental services, construction, skilled trades, plumbing, sewer and drain, underground utilities, HVAC, or home services.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and project coordination skills.
• Experience managing field teams and holding team members accountable.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and customer expectations.
• Experience with sewer and drain, underground utilities, excavation, or environmental services.
• Willingness to work in the field and visit active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from planning through final closeout
• Coordinate schedules, materials, equipment, resources, and field personnel to keep projects on track
• Lead and support field teams while maintaining accountability for quality and performance
• Conduct site walks, assess project conditions, and prepare teams for successful execution
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality, and customer expectations
• Communicate with customers, field teams, leadership, and other departments throughout the project
• Identify project issues, manage change orders, and develop solutions to keep work moving
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service
