Job summary

SET Environmental Inc in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead client projects, manage projects, and drive client development. The role supports Senior Project Managers, participates in emergency response, and ensures projects meet schedule and budget.

You will lead environmental fieldwork, coordinate permits, and oversee subcontractors while mentoring junior staff, performing performance evaluations, and maintaining QA/QC.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication across departments.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Flexibility for on-call work.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in client projects including client development and project management.
• Support Senior Project Managers in project execution and client development.
• Participate in Emergency Response program including on-call rotation.
• Meet billable goals and staff/team goal achievement.
• Lead environmental project work including investigation and remediation.
• Manage permitting, investigation, and remediation tasks.
• Coordinate on-schedule and on-budget tasks.
• Oversee subcontractors and field teams.
• Develop junior staff through training and on-the-job experience.
• Conduct performance evaluations for applicable staff.
• Perform fieldwork including sampling and site surveys.
• Prepare permits, technical reports, and work plans.
