Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Biology, Soil Science, Ecology, or related field.
• Soil Scientist in Training (SSIT) preferred, ability to obtain licensure within ~3 years (state dependent).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Initiates project setup and implementation with limited supervision.
• Assists with soil, wetland and natural resource investigations.
• Supports mapping, GPS data collection, and field documentation.
• Assists with pre-field planning and post-field data processing.
• Contributes to technical evaluations and reporting under senior guidance.
• Develops relationships with existing and prospective clients through project interactions.
