Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager with an LSRP license to support our Somerset, NJ environmental practice.

You will manage environmental projects from proposal through close-out, mentoring junior staff and coordinating diverse teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians in a fast-paced setting. This on-site role emphasizes data accuracy, client service, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, earth/environmental science, or related field is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license in good standing, or on-track to obtain the license.

Responsibilities

• Manage technically and financially successful environmental projects.
• Lead teams through remediation processes per NJDEP Tech Regs.
• Meet client-driven deadlines and manage project schedules.
• Author clear, data-driven technical reports and site interpretations.
• Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders.
