Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Somerset, NJ is seeking an Assistant Project Manager who is an aspiring LSRP, or a Project Manager with an LSRP license, to support our expanding environmental practice.

You will manage diverse teams on projects from proposal to close-out, including due diligence, site assessment, investigation, and remediation, under guidance of senior staff. This role emphasizes collaboration, client communication, and delivering technically sound reports that comply with NJDEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, earth/environmental science, or related field.
• LSRP license in good standing or on-track to obtain the license.
• 5–15 years’ experience in Phase I ESAs and NJ regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Managing technically and financially successful projects.
• Lead remediation processes from investigation through remediation.
• Meet client-driven deadlines and manage project schedules.
• Lead teams performing environmental assessments, data interpretation, and reporting.
• Prepare site health & safety plans and ensure team safety.
