GZA GeoEnvironmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager and Licensed Site Professional (LSP) to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects in Providence, RI. The role emphasizes client relationships, technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring projects are planned and executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or Environmental Sciences.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant environmental consulting or engineering experience.
• Licensed Site Professional (LSP) with familiarity with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and regs.
• Proven experience managing environmental investigation, compliance, and remediation projects.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, organizational, and professional judgment skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a record of high-quality work products.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork and field sampling as needed.
• Experience preparing technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental data management software.
• Completion of 40-hour and 8-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental site investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and contractual/financial matters.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, work plans, and regulatory submittals.
• Perform data analysis, interpretation, and calculations related to sampling and remediation performance.
• Mentor and support project engineers and scientists.
• Conduct and oversee fieldwork, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling and remediation system operation.
• Support business development through networking, client meetings, and marketing initiatives.
• Assist on projects outside of primary responsibilities when needed.
