Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (aspiring LSRP) or Project Manager with LSRP license to support our environmental consulting practice in Somerset, NJ.

You will manage environmental projects through proposal to close-out, guiding a diverse team of professionals and collaborating with clients and regulators. You will oversee lifecycle activities from planning and fieldwork to data interpretation, report writing, and risk assessment, ensuring quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, earth/environmental science, or related field.
• Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license in good standing, or on-track to obtain.
• 5–15 years of experience conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under ASTM-1527-21 and related regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; OSHA 40Hr Hazwoper Certification.

Responsibilities

• Managing technically and financially successful environmental projects.
• Leading remediation projects from investigation to remediation.
• Meeting client deadlines through team and schedule management.
• Supervising professionals and junior staff across multiple disciplines.
• Authoring clear technical reports and data analyses; ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Communicating proactively with team members and stakeholders.
