Job summary

Aegis Environmental, Inc. in Indiana is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects from proposal to completion.

You will lead field investigations, coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies, mentor junior staff, and travel throughout Indiana and nearby states. This role offers direct access to leadership and strong growth opportunities with a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least three years of environmental consulting experience as a project manager.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to travel throughout Indiana and surrounding states.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Performing and overseeing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Planning and conducting environmental field investigations.
• Interpreting analytical data and developing practical, science-based recommendations.
• Preparing technical reports, proposals, cost estimates, and regulatory submittals.
• Coordinating and overseeing drilling contractors, laboratories, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Communicating with clients and regulatory agencies; assisting with business development and proposal preparation.
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
