Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Plymouth Meeting, PA seeks a mid-level Environmental Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to advance from a technical contributor to a project leader.

You will support investigations and remediation projects, mentor staff, and work with senior leaders in a collaborative environment. The role emphasizes planning, regulatory compliance, safety, and client relationships, with opportunities for ownership and career growth within a respected environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer licensure.
• 5+ years of experience at consulting engineering firms with knowledge of PA/NJ regulations.
• 5+ years in environmental site investigations and remediation projects.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principals to plan and conduct environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Lead and document field investigations and remedial actions.
• Prepare construction specifications and drawings.
• Develop health and safety plans and manage compliance during on-site activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against budgets and contracts.
• Prepare environmental reports and work plans with junior staff under Principal guidance.
• Provide business development support and assist in proposals.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to leadership growth.
