Job summary

EnviroForensics in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Project Manager (Engineer) to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects. You will supervise technical and administrative tasks, manage profitability, and uphold company policies while working with Regional Directors and project teams.

The role requires an extensive background in environmental consulting, PE licensure (or rapid pathway), and a strong emphasis on client relations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive environmental consulting project management experience.
• Must have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Advanced knowledge in a relevant area of science, geology, and/or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigation and remediation projects for public and private clients.
• Report directly to the Regional Director and coordinate with Senior/Project Managers.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, timelines, and profitability; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Develop and implement proposals in line with company billing guidelines and best practices.
• Build client relationships and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Mentor and guide project team members to meet goals and maintain company standards.
