Job description

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing due diligence and remediation services.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
  2. Strong technical writing skills
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  5. Background/experience in environmental due diligence
  6. Underground storage tank experience
  7. Ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or related fields
  2. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training
  3. Experience with performing environmental due diligence, including Phase I and Phase II site assessments, BEAs, compliance analysis reports, and field sampling methodology
  4. Experience with HUD, MSHDA, and NEPA regulations
  5. Ability to analyze field and technical data, conduct research, demonstrate technical knowledge, and solve problems

Expectations Include:

  1. Interfacing with clients and regulatory agencies, providing project management and updates; preparing and tracking budgets; project invoicing
  2. Conducting and/or reviewing Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards
  3. Developing scopes of work to assess RECs and project-specific objectives, including cost estimates and timelines
  4. Managing or overseeing subsurface investigations, including soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling
  5. Interpreting analytical data using spreadsheets and databases
  6. Understanding due diligence and brownfield redevelopment processes
  7. Knowledge of Part 213/UST requirements
  8. Maintaining awareness of project status and goals
  9. Collaborating across disciplines for successful project completion
  10. Providing high-quality environmental services
  11. Responding promptly to customer inquiries
  12. Performing other duties as assigned
