Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is expanding. We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager for our Columbus, Ohio office. Responsibilities include managing environmental assessment and remediation projects across various sectors, maintaining current clients, developing new business, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field (M.S. preferred)
• Professional license preferred (Ohio Certified Professional, PG, or in-training)
• 5-10+ years of experience managing environmental projects under federal/state standards
• Proficiency in subsurface investigations, work plan development, and report writing
• Experience with brownfield redevelopment and underground storage tank projects
• Knowledge of environmental regulations
• Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments
• Strong management and communication skills
• Client management and business development experience, especially in the Midwest
• Experience with grants/funded projects is a plus
• Proficiency in electronic data management
• Additional skills such as human health risk assessment and regulatory reporting are advantageous
