Job summary

Poutrix is seeking a Project Task Manager / Staff Scientist to support environmental projects across the site evaluation and remediation life cycle in Tennessee. Office-based with occasional field visits, you will assist project managers, manage data, budgets, and deliver technical reports.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies, developing conceptual site models, and guiding field staff while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in the environmental industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing, data evaluation, staff mentorship/training, and aspects of project financial management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Support development of conceptual site models and interpretation of data for remedies and compliance.
• Write and review technical reports.
• Coordinate work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors.
• Forecast project spend and review client invoices under supervision of the Project Manager.
