Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Task Manager / Staff Scientist (Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer) to support environmental investigation and remediation projects in Tennessee. This full-time role focuses on office-based project management, with potential field visits up to 25% to Tennessee sites.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets, and mentor Arcadis staff in field planning and data collection to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in the environmental industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing, data evaluation, staff mentorship/training, and aspects of project financial management.
• Strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Support the development of conceptual site models and interpretation of data for site remediation.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols for the project team.
• Write and review technical reports and documentation.
• Coordinate work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors.
• Produce cost estimates, forecast spend, and assist with client invoices.
