Job summary
SCS Engineers in Reston, VA is seeking an independent, detail-oriented Project Professional to support our solid waste practice across operations, maintenance, air emissions and reporting for municipal and private clients. You will assist with permitting, design (construction plans, technical specifications and construction documents), data review and analysis, report writing and construction oversight.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Environmental Science is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant environmental experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required.
Responsibilities
- Landfill gas modelling and design.
- Air emissions monitoring and reporting.
- Review of landfill gas and liquids data.
- Feasibility studies.
- Environmental and construction materials sample collection.
- Laboratory data management and review.
- Preparation of plans and specifications, reports, permit applications, and proposals.
