HDR is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our New York/New Jersey Environmental Science and Planning practice. The role requires a seller/doer with strong communication skills to coordinate transportation, airports, renewables, and environmental permitting efforts.

Ideal candidates have NEPA/SEQRA/CEQR experience, familiarity with agencies like USACE and NYSDEC, and a PE license. Responsibilities include project and staff management, business development, and coordination across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7 years related experience including minimum 2 years in project management
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• MS Office and MS Project experience required
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project delivery for NY/NJ environmental programs
• Manage client communications and assist with business development
• Provide technical expertise across NEPA/SEQRA/CEQR and environmental studies
• Plan budgets, schedules and oversee subcontractors
• Direct multi-disciplinary teams and ensure quality of deliverables
