Job summary

The L&R Group is seeking a hands-on L&R Project Manager in Meridian, ID. The role combines field leadership with strong project administration, overseeing crews, coordinating equipment, budgeting, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance to deliver projects on time and on budget.

You will manage client relationships, identify additional work opportunities, and ensure accurate documentation, billing, and reporting while supporting a positive, family‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of project management, construction, field operations, or related industry experience.
• Associate's degree or certification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing employees and field operations.
• Knowledge of waste stream types, materials, waste handling, safety protocols for hazardous and nonhazardous.
• Valid driver's license.
• 2 years of customer service experience in service-based waste or environmental settings.
• Confined space rescue knowledge and training (or willingness to obtain).
• Hazwoper 40 training (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with estimates, bids, Davis‑Beacon, and change orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Computer literacy, including email communication and digital documentation, and project management software.
• Project budgets, costs, billing, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects & crews, providing on‑site leadership and direction to field crews.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and resources for each project.
• Conduct job walks and inspect sites to understand scope and conditions.
• Monitor schedules, progress, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage project documentation and billing support.
• Support workflow continuity and adapt to operational needs.
