Job summary

The L&R Group, LLC in Kuna, Idaho is seeking an Operations Manager to guide field teams and ensure safe, compliant operations at the local branch. You will lead projects in environmental remediation, industrial services, and emergency response while driving client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in supervision and project management, strong OSHA/DOT/RCRA knowledge, and a proven ability to develop teams and meet budgets.

Qualifications

• A.S./A.A. degree or equivalent in HAZWOPER/Environmental industry.
• 8+ years of HAZWOPER/Environmental supervisor and project management experience; or 5+ years in the field with 3+ years in supervision.
• 10+ years driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Field Office teams and model GrayMar values.
• Ensure each employee is prepared and educated in safe work practices.
• Develop, coach, train, and promote employees with ongoing feedback and goals.
• Identify and pursue new and existing customer opportunities to support branch revenue.
• Manage projects in environmental remediation, industrial services, emergency response and hazardous materials transportation and disposal.
• Coordinate employees, resources, dispatch, schedule, and management of multiple projects and emergency responses.
• Develop scope of work, cost estimates, quotes, and safety analyses while communicating with customers and vendors.
• Lead day-to-day project activities including client communication, quality control, scheduling, cost tracking, and scope changes.
• Support and maintain a safety-centric culture with field audits and required training.
• Complete project documentation and timesheets accurately and on time.
• Assist with payroll and financial reporting to hit annual budgets.
• Supervise and motivate a large team to ensure adequate staffing and retention.
• Work with HR on career development and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide maintenance, repairs, and inventory support as needed.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
