Job summary

UES is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to direct all environmental aspects of projects, lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves mentoring staff, coordinating with multiple departments, and delivering high-quality environmental reports and fieldwork.

The position requires working on-site and in the field, with up to 40% travel in South Florida, and a focus on Phase I/II ESA processes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Develop project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work with cross‑functional teams across geographies.
• Coordinate resources including field technicians and staff to meet project needs efficiently.
• Maintain client communication to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Track financial performance, including cost control and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TRRP, PST, CERCLA, RCRA, ASTM).
• Perform Phase I and II ESA site assessments and technical reporting.
• Collect environmental samples; document and report findings with safety practices.
• Review and approve timesheets, reports, and client deliverables for accuracy.
• Travel throughout South Florida up to 40% for fieldwork and client engagements.
