Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its Detroit team. You will manage environmental investigation and remediation projects, deliver technically sound services, prepare proposals and reports, and supervise field investigations while developing staff and managing client relationships.

The role offers opportunities to advance project and staff management skills, interact with clients, and contribute to exciting small and large projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; (Master’s degree a plus)
• LEED AP or PE certification
• 6+ years of related work experience
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software
• Hazwoper training, annual physical and respirator fit test, and Hazwoper re-certification
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements
• Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and clients, manage budgets, and coach staff
• Travel may be required based on business needs

Responsabilités

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects
• Perform complex analyses for portions of broader projects
• Supervise field activities and interpretations of findings
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines
• Write and edit proposals, reports, and documents
• Identify and pursue new clients and develop work within projects
• Oversee and coach junior staff; participate in hiring
• Coordinate work across offices and disciplines as needed
• Interface with clients, contractors, staff and project personnel
• Perform other duties as requested
