Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Philadelphia, PA. You will manage environmental investigation and remediation projects, supervise field activities, and develop technical proposals and reports while advancing staff capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• LEED AP or PE certification.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software.
• Hazwoper training and annual re-certification.
• Regulatory requirements understanding.
• Excellent public speaking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Multi-tasking and project/budget management.
• Travel and flexible schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for portions of projects.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Edit and draft proposals, reports and other documents.
• Pursue new clients and develop work on existing projects; attend business development meetings.
• Oversee junior staff; coach, train, and motivate team.
• Coordinate with other offices and disciplines as needed.
• Interface with clients, contractors, staff and project personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested.
