Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its Detroit team. The role manages environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivers technically robust services, and prepares proposals and reports while supervising field work and staff.

You will develop both project management and staff leadership skills, engage with clients, and contribute to diverse small- and large-scale projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• LEED AP or PE certification;
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Hazwoper training and certifications;
• Strong regulatory knowledge;
• Excellent public speaking, written and verbal communication;
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and judgment abilities;
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects;
• Perform complex analyses for portions of projects;
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations;
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
• Prepare and edit proposals, reports, and other documents;
• Identify and pursue new clients and opportunities;
• Provide oversight and coaching of junior staff;
• Coordinate cross-office and cross-discipline work as needed;
• Interface with clients, contractors, and project personnel;
• Perform other duties as requested.
