GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager with 8-10 years of experience to join our team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on environmental contamination management, regulatory compliance, and project leadership across soil and groundwater projects.

The position involves 30% field-based work and 70% office work, with travel up to 30% nationally. Hybrid or remote arrangements will be considered to support client delivery and project success.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance.
• Field-work 30% and office-work 70%.
• Lead and oversee contaminant management projects, including soil/ groundwater testing.
• Coordinate with clients/regulators; manage budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Travel up to 30% and adapt to seasonal conditions in the Upper Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Provide task leadership and oversight of contaminant management projects.
• Develop client relationships and support business development to obtain new work.
• Oversee soil and groundwater investigations and sampling.
• Manage environmental permitting and Phase I/II ESAs.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
