Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Program Manager to lead industrial hygiene and environmental health projects across the New York market, overseeing asbestos, lead, mold, PCB, and indoor air quality services. You will collaborate with clients, project teams, and technical professionals to deliver safe buildings and healthy communities.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 7+ years of IH/env health project management, NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator certification,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing industrial hygiene or environmental health projects involving asbestos, lead, mold, or indoor air quality services.
• Current NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator certification and NYSDOL Inspector and Project Designer certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work across NYC buildings.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-profile clients, including the SCA.
• Develop new project opportunities and proposals with internal teams.
• Coordinate staffing and workloads for project delivery.
• Provide QC and oversight of technical reports, RFPs, regs docs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and standards.
• Lead monthly internal health and safety meetings.
• Support budgeting, invoicing, and collections.
• Contribute to regional strategic planning initiatives.
