Job summary

Atlas seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead Building Sciences projects including Industrial Hygiene, mold, asbestos and indoor air quality across the Eastern New England region and nationwide. You will guide proposals, fieldwork, reporting and client communications, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.

Your background includes 10+ years as a Project Manager in Building Science/Industrial Hygiene, plus 5+ years managing clients; supervision experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree considered.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Building Science/Industrial Hygiene.
• Accomplished Client Manager with at least 5 years managing clients.
• Experience supervising others/direct reports preferred.
• Experience with asbestos, mold, lead paint and industrial hygiene projects required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and other Building Science projects.
• Provide leadership, training and support to all levels of the organization.
• Oversee junior staff, subcontractors, and multiple projects.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives.
• Prepare budgets, proposals and reports with QA/QC.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and within budget.
• Operate testing equipment and instruments (air-sampling pumps, real-time air monitoring, moisture meters, IR cameras).
• Abide by health and safety policies.
