Job summary

Matrix New World Engineering, part of True Environmental, is seeking a senior Industrial Hygiene Technician/Project Manager for the New York metro area. The role focuses on advanced field execution, mentorship, and regulatory compliance across complex projects.

We require 7+ years in IH field monitoring with AHERA/lead/mold expertise, strong reporting skills, and ability to manage field teams and client relations. Competitive hourly pay and DOT compliance are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of IH field monitoring experience including asbestos, lead, and mold.
• Advanced IH certifications (e.g., AHERA, NYSDOL Mold Assessor) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA/NY regulations and field data quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk field assignments for asbestos, lead, mold, and IH exposure assessments.
• Serve as on-site lead technician and liaison with clients/contractors on multi-phase projects.
• Conduct site investigations, risk assessments, and final clearance inspections.
