Job summary

Atlas is seeking an IH Program Manager to lead industrial hygiene and environmental health projects in the New York market, overseeing asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality initiatives. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and technical professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that protect people and strengthen communities.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to budgeting, invoicing and strategic planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field relevant to environmental health or engineering.
• 7+ years of experience managing IH or environmental health projects (asbestos, lead, mold, IAQ).
• Experience leading teams, managing client relationships, and delivering large programs.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local IH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-profile clients, including the School Construction Authority (SCA).
• Identify and develop new project opportunities; participate in meetings and conferences.
• Coordinate internal resources and staffing for project delivery.
• Provide QA/QC of reports, RFPs, regulatory docs, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety procedures and standards.
• Participate in monthly internal health and safety meetings.
• Monitor project performance; support budgeting, invoicing, and collections.
• Contribute to strategic planning for regional objectives.
