Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks an Environmental Practice Team Lead for our Anchorage, AK office. The role focuses on leading a technical team of scientists and engineers, growing client relationships, and directing complex environmental projects.

You will mentor staff, manage projects and budgets, and coordinate with Northwest operations to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional registration preferred (P.E./P.G.).
• 15+ years of direct environmental consulting experience.
• Minimum 8 years of consulting in Alaska.
• Proven client management and business development.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of USEPA and Alaska DEC regulations.
• HAZWOPER 40-hr training and renewals may be required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
• Grow the Northwest operation through client development and repeat business.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet client needs.
• Direct fieldwork, site investigations, and remediation projects as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, risk management and regulatory compliance across projects.
