Job summary

GHD is seeking a Portfolio Relationship Manager to drive strategic growth across a defined client portfolio. You will lead relationship management, anticipate client needs, and align GHD’s engineering and advisory capabilities to deliver sustained value and growth.

Based in the Western US with a hybrid model, the role involves collaboration with technical, commercial, and project teams to translate client needs into actionable strategies and tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and related field.
• 10–20 years of project experience in the environmental market with client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with client presentations and reports.
• Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex existing accounts.
• Oversee CRM system implementation and data quality within area of responsibility.
• Develop plans for strategic, complex potential accounts at local and national levels.
• Consult with customer representatives to identify outcomes and compile requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to tailor solutions and negotiate terms with customers.
