Qualifications

• Six years of experience in technical analysis and interpretation of environmental program data or planning and implementing environmental programs.
• College training in a scientific or technical discipline related to environmental field such as biology, earth sciences, or environmental planning.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret legislation and technical data.
• Experience with computer software and databases.
• Project management and coordination abilities across multiple agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-visibility and complex environmental permitting projects.
• Coordinate across DEEP's branches and state/federal agencies to improve regulatory efficiency and transparency.
• Lead project management activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide permit assistance and support agency-wide planning and process improvements.
