Job summary

The Office of Innovative Partnerships and Planning within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Analyst 2 to join the Concierge Team. This full-time hybrid role supports environmental permitting processes across DEEP’s Air, Water, and Resource programs, coordinating timelines, data gathering, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience involving technical analysis and interpretation of environmental program data or planning and implementing environmental programs.
• College training in a scientific or technical discipline may substitute for General Experience (15 semester hours = 0.5 year; max 4 years for a Bachelor's).
• A Master's degree may substitute for five years of General Experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of departmental, statewide or local environment and/or emergency response plans and programs.
• Research, collect and analyze resources, data and educational materials.
• Review proposed projects for policy compliance and environmental impact; coordinate data and information.
• Coordinate database maintenance and disseminate information.
• Provide technical consultation to local, regional, state, federal officials and the public.
