Job summary

The New York State Department of Transportation is seeking an Environmental Specialist 2 to coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and agencies to document and minimize environmental effects and secure required permits.

You will serve as threatened and endangered species coordinator and as a cultural resource coordinator, contributing expertise across noise, air quality, hazardous wastes, soil, groundwater, wetlands, and native species.

Qualifications
