Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to provide oversight, coordination and leadership for one or more facilities handling solid waste and recyclables. The role emphasizes safe operations, continuous improvement, and meeting service level agreements.

You will build a high-performance team, monitor staffing to meet seasonal demand, and drive performance through metrics, training and disciplined supervision. Strong communication with clients and regulators is essential.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years in transportation, construction and/or waste services.
Minimum five years of diverse management experience.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Outlook for reporting.
Ability to lead, coach and discipline staff while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversees day-to-day operations of the transportation, hauling and support operations.
Formulates, manages and monitors operating metrics while diagnosing and improving processes.
Participates in the development of Divisional/District Operational budgets and monitors costs.
Ensures thorough root cause investigations for all incidents/injuries and provides needed training.
Interacts with municipal agencies to enhance client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitors DOT, OSHA and ensures regulatory compliance.
