Job summary

Momentum Environmental seeks a Director of Operations to oversee regional operations, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. The role collaborates with Sales, Finance, and Compliance, guiding field teams and coordinating with other locations to optimize scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation. The Director reports to senior operations leadership and drives continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the environmental service industry.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry or engineering.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (OSHA, EPA) and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of waste treatment, ER, industrial cleaning and remediation technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational and logistical elements of the assigned location.
• Coordinate with other Directors on scheduling and logistics.
• Serve as SME for environmental and industrial topics for field teams.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget of regional projects with field and waste processing teams.
• Support health and safety programs and communicate with customers on conditions.
• Develop pricing controls and monitor profitability KPIs per project.
