Job summary

3Degrees, Inc. is seeking a Trade Operations Analyst in our hybrid San Francisco office to ensure accurate delivery and retirement of environmental commodity supply for commercial clients and utility partnerships.

You will streamline operational workflows, automate manual tasks, and contribute to a scalable, high‑performing team using Artemis, JIRA, and evolving ETRM tools. Strong detail orientation and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in business operations, workflow execution, or process-oriented roles.
• Proven ability to use checklists, formulas, and automation to prevent errors in high-stakes workflows.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and independent solution development.
• Experience with data reconciliation and troubleshooting across datasets.
• Track record of process improvement and scaling manual tasks through automation.
• Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills; familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools or agents to innovate processes and double-check work.
• Willingness to accept feedback, learn quickly, and adapt in a fast-moving setting.
• Excellent written communication and professional client interaction.
• Nice-to-Haves: basic SQL familiarity; experience with software product teams or environmental attribute knowledge

Responsibilities

• Accurately execute deliveries and supply retirements for key counterparties and clients under high-volume conditions.
• Manage project and delivery information within Artemis and third-party registries.
• Serve as primary point of contact for counterparties on trading and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with teammates, product managers, and engineers to automate workflows and build tools.
• Support transition to the new Energy Trading and Risk Management platform (ETRM).
• Assist internal clients and external counterparties with transactional and delivery details.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, Contracts, and Trading to ensure seamless workflows.
• Proactively compare datasets to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Explore and implement AI-driven tooling to improve efficiency and reduce friction.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
