Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental engineering, compliance, and sustainability for a large manufacturing operation with an on-site plant and three distribution centers in Tyler, TX. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, strategy, and team leadership across multiple sites.

You will oversee air permitting (Title V, PSD/NSR), water and waste management, and directly manage a team of professionals.

Qualifications

Experience managing a complex environmental program at a plant level.
Proven ability to lead environmental professionals and teams.
Strong expertise in air permitting (Title V, PSD/NSR).
Knowledge of water and waste management regulations.
Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction for environmental engineering, compliance, and sustainability across a large plant and three distribution centers.
Directly supervise a team including three Environmental Engineers, an Environmental Technician, and an hourly environmental team.
Oversee compliance in air permitting (Title V, PSD/NSR), water management, and waste management.
Travel up to 25% to support environmental operations across sites.
Report to the General Manager on environmental program status and strategy.
