Antolin in the United States seeks a seasoned Safety and Environmental Leader to drive OSHA/EPA compliance, ISO-14001 alignment, and robust risk-reduction programs across the manufacturing facility.

You will establish standards, lead safety initiatives, conduct audits, train staff, and collaborate with management to ensure safe, compliant operations while supporting productivity and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety, environmental, ergonomics, business, HR, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Safety or HR, preferably in manufacturing.
• Core competencies: technical knowledge, commitment, communication, decision making, follow-up, safety awareness.
• Strong leadership; able to lead by example and promote teamwork.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of ISO-14001 and ability to maintain certifications to meet customer needs.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation and safety-related laws including ISO 45001.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations; air quality, water, hazardous waste, pollution prevention.
• Professional communication and representation skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and move around the workplace as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain written safety and environmental standards; review annually for OSHA and EPA compliance.
• Coordinate inspections by OSHA, EPA, and other representatives.
• Coordinate Safety Committee meetings and activities.
• Investigate accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety, environmental, and ergonomic training to new hires.
• Maintain training records to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate PPE selection and fit testing.
• Support development stages of manufacturing processes and equipment from a safety perspective.
• Participate in external seminars to stay current with OSHA/EPA/regulations.
• Act as a representative for Environmental Management System and OHSM programs.
