Job summary

Shirley Parsons seeks an Environmental Engineer to join a leading global manufacturing organization in Phoenix, Arizona. You will serve as the site environmental lead, driving regulatory compliance and supporting sustainability initiatives at a high-visibility facility.

You will manage wastewater treatment, air permitting, hazardous waste, and regulatory reporting while partnering with operations, EHS, and sustainability teams to advance continuous improvement and long-term environmental

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Ability to independently manage environmental compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, permitting, reporting, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Wastewater treatment experience highly preferred; air compliance and hazardous waste knowledge beneficial.
• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site environmental lead, overseeing compliance programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage wastewater treatment, air permitting, hazardous waste management, inspections, and reporting.
• Support operation of site environmental systems including wastewater processes.
• Drive environmental data tracking, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with operations, EHS, and sustainability teams to improve environmental performance.
